You don't really have to know me that much for you to say that I am an animal lover. I often post photos of my cats, touched random pets on the street, and so on. I am an animal lover but mostly, I am a cat lover. I grew up with cats, mom told me that. And I won't be surprised if my own child (in the future) grows with them too. And so far, we have 26 cats in the house. Yeah, 26.
I am passionate and loving to cats. I always give food (if I have something to give) to stray cats and sometimes put them somewhere safe and away from the roads. Maybe the reason why I care for them is because I find them very soft and defenseless. Same case with dogs. Some of them barks loudly if they feel threaten, some of them tends to just run away from people. I like to think that animals, like humans, have their instinct. They can sense whether a person is going to scare them or pat them.
Cats, as well as other animals, are harmless unless you harm them first. They are gentle and lovable creatures, all animals are, actually. Think of this saying about animals: "A part of one's soul remains unawakened until one has loved an animal."
Animals are great companions. They can teach us humans to be responsible and passionate about life and care for other people as well. I would highly recommend you to get a pet now, in case you don't have one yet. :)
The population of stray cats and dogs are growing and sadly, there are only few people that will actually care for them. Most people nowadays prefer pets that are "pretty" and they tend to buy one. While I don't have any issues with breeders, I personally prefer and recommend you to adopt a pet instead. All animals will give you loyalty and genuine love regardless if you paid for them or not. But I really, really, advise everyone who's reading this to adopt a pet and give a stray cat/dog a chance to have an owner and be loved.
